A simple rectilinear design of native wildflower areas, hornbeam hedging, yew hedging and topiary, set against the contrast of tightly mown grass. The gravel driveway to the front of the property is bordered with naturalistic planting set against the clipped yew, providing all round interest. A pleached hornbeam hedge creates a separation to the main garden, which has been designed with multiple areas to retreat within, whether for a doze in the hammock or a laze on the lawn under the dappled shade of the sycamore.
