A simple linear design creating a gravel courtyard for dining at one end and a fire pit and seating at the other. Clipped yew hedging forms a framework to separate the two areas. A raised bed has been designed to transition the 2 levels and allows for planting at eye level in a palette of pinks, whites and purples. A beautiful Amelanchier and Magnolia flank either side of the space, under planted with ferns, hellebores and snowdrops. This is a sustainable garden using reclaimed materials and plants are encouraged to self-seed.
