A one and a half acre garden with open views to rolling Leicestershire countryside. The brief was to create a garden with ‘separate rooms’ whilst retaining a sense of unity across the site. The design extends to a large sloping ’lower’ woodland garden with semi mature birch, aspen and mountain ash trees, a formal upper terrace with lawns, topiary, pergola, arbour and long herbaceous borders plus an expansive entertaining terrace to link to an existing Japanese garden.
